Section 2: Long Questions
Section 2：长题
Two long questions chosen from four, 25 marks each, about an hour. One physical situation, followed through several parts.
四道长题选做两道，每道 25 分，约一小时。一个物理情境，分多问一路做下去。
Section 2 rewards a different skill from Section 1. Each question takes one situation (an orbit, a circuit, a wave, a thermal process) and builds it up over several parts, so an early result is often needed later. The choice matters: reading all four questions before committing, and choosing the two whose later parts you can see a way into, is part of the paper. Marks come from reasoning that is written down, and a slip in one part need not cost the rest if the method stays visible.
Section 2 考的是与 Section 1 不同的本事。每道题取一个情境（轨道、电路、波、热过程），分几问层层推进，前面的结果常常要在后面用到。选题本身就是考试的一部分：先把四道题都读一遍，再选两道后几问也看得到思路的题做到底。分数来自写下来的推理；只要方法清楚可见，一问出错不一定连累后面。

How to use the bank怎样使用题库
- Take a whole question and give it about thirty minutes, the share it gets on the day. Write every step as if for a marker.取一整道题，给它大约三十分钟——考试时它能分到的时间。每一步都像写给阅卷人看一样写下来。
- Check each part’s final answer in the bank. A wrong early part explains many wrong later ones; find the first place you diverge.在题库里逐问核对最终答案。前面一问错了，后面往往跟着错；找到第一个出现分歧的地方。
- Rework from that point before reading any solution. When you are stuck, the Section 2 book has the full working.从那一问开始重做，再去看解答。实在卡住时，Section 2 题解书里有完整过程。
- Later, sit two questions from one paper together in an hour, choosing them yourself.之后，从同一份试卷里自己选两道，在一小时内连着做完。
