What is here这里有什么

A study site for the whole British Physics Olympiad family, built from our own work on it: nine solution books, online question banks for Round 1 Section 1, Round 1 Section 2, Round 2 and the BAAO (answers only), the full IPC and SPC banks with worked solutions, interactive labs for Section 1 (89 questions), Section 2 (15 long questions) and Round 2 (15 questions), the Top Gold plan, and a topic × year index of Section 1. The IPC, SPC and BAAO each have their own site in the same family, with an interactive lab of their own.

The official pages. Every competition fact (formats, dates, awards, eligibility, how the rounds connect) is taken from the public pages of bpho.org.uk for the 2025–26 cycle, archived when this site was written. Our solution books. The question banks and the Section 1 index are built from the source files of our books. The index counts 261 Section 1 questions from 2011 to 2025, one of them filed under two topics.我们的题解书。各题库与 Section 1 索引均由题解书的源文件整理而来。索引统计了 2011–2025 年共 261 道 Section 1 题目，其中一道同时归入两个专题。
The official papers. Question wording, figures and data in the lab were checked against the published BPhO papers.官方试卷。互动练习中的题目文字、配图与数据，都与 BPhO 公布的原卷逐一核对过。

Why the new banks give answers only新题库为什么只给答案

The Round 1, Round 2 and BAAO banks show the final answer to each question or part, not the working. That is deliberate. An answer is what you need to check your own attempt, and checking is where most learning happens; the full worked solutions, with every step explained, are what the books are for. The IPC and SPC banks were built earlier as complete study tools and keep their worked solutions.

Round 1、Round 2 与 BAAO 的题库只给每道题（或每一问）的最终答案，不给过程。这是有意为之：核对自己的解答只需要答案，而大部分的学习恰恰发生在核对的时候；每一步都有说明的完整解答，是题解书的职责。IPC 与 SPC 题库在更早的时候就作为完整的学习工具建成，保留了完整解答。

How the lab answers were checked互动练习的答案怎样核对

Every numerical answer in the Section 1 lab was recomputed independently of the worked solution, from the data in the question, before it was accepted. Answers are graded with a tolerance, usually two per cent, so a correctly rounded value is accepted; bearings are compared as angles. The Section 2 and Round 2 labs grade the same way. Round 2 papers print no marks for each question, so the Round 2 lab counts the numerical checks you pass instead of awarding marks.

What this site is not这个站点不是什么

Not official. This is an independent study site. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the British Physics Olympiad or the BAAO.不是官方。这是独立的学习站点，与英国物理奥林匹克及 BAAO 无隶属关系，亦未获其认可。
Not a mark scheme. The lab and the banks judge a final number; a BPhO marker awards marks for working. Show your working on the day.不是评分标准。互动练习与题库只核对最终数值，而 BPhO 阅卷按过程给分。考试时一定要写出过程。
Not a threshold. No page states the marks needed for any award. Those are set each year and released to schools; the only numbers here are the official target counts per tier and the Top Gold plan’s own study estimates.不给分数线。任何页面都不写获奖所需分数。分数线每年划定并发给学校；这里出现的数字只有官方公布的各档目标人数，以及 Top Gold 方案自己的备考估分。
Not a record of you. Lab progress and language choice are stored only in your browser’s local storage. Nothing is sent anywhere.不记录你。练习进度与语言选择只存在你浏览器的本地存储里，不会上传到任何地方。
