How to Browse Every ISEF Project Ever Submitted

Every piece of information here is on the official website — it just gets reorganised with each annual update, which makes older projects surprisingly hard to find. Before the method, here is the full category list with abbreviations:

The URL pattern

With the abbreviations in hand, the search URL is:

https://projectboard.world/isef/viewAll?category=CATEGORY-YEAR&page=home

Example — all Embedded Systems projects from 2023:

https://projectboard.world/isef/viewAll?category=EBED-2023&page=home

On the results page: blue entries are Top Awards (named prizes), yellow are Grand Awards (first through fourth place), and red are Special Awards (from sponsoring organisations). Prestige runs roughly in that order top to bottom.

There is a Filter button in the top right. Use it to narrow by country — helpful if you want to see projects from Chinese participants specifically.

Year-format quirk

If a search returns nothing, try dropping the "20" from the year. For example, the 2022 full-year format returns nothing:

But the short form works fine:

https://projectboard.world/isef/viewAll?category=EBED-22&page=home

Projects from 2021 onward are findable this way. Earlier work dates from the Intel era and is generally gone.
