The Claude Founders' Handbook — International Education Edition

Claude创始人手册-国际教育版

As a heavy Claude user and MAX subscriber, I read the Claude Founders Handbook carefully when it came out. It is probably the best short cognitive-upgrade booklet I have read recently. I then had Claude read it too, and asked it to write several responses — which turned into a small production project.

After the first read, the dominant feeling was that it had shifted something in how I think about business. So I kept going.

After several passes in both languages, I asked Claude to pull from its memory of the text, plus some student case material, and produce several versions adapted for the international education industry. Reading through them: Opus 4.7 was somewhat blunt in its execution. (Opus 4.8 dropped the same day, for what it is worth.)

Working on top of Claude's draft, I folded in a substantial amount of my own experience and practice notes, producing a version that felt worth actually sharing.

This version is also a short booklet. The structure pulls core principles from the original, then applies them specifically to international education practice. There is also a student-facing version — my attempt to articulate what capabilities a student genuinely needs in this period: how to use AI systematically to learn and grow, rather than as a shortcut to avoid thinking.

Looking back through it after finishing, the great majority of what is in there is genuinely actionable. It has given me enough to think about that I expect to be putting pieces of it into practice — and building things out of it — for a while.
